What do you think is an odd name for a dog? I was watching the dog show on Animal Planet recently and they had a standard poodle on there whose name was Yes. I thought that was a rather strange name for a show dog. What do you think?

I just ask a question on what food dogs can’t eat and there was a long list, practically almost everything.
I am planning to get a dog and want to know everything I can.

Our dogschool’s presentation group made a surprise video for Christmas. It is our first work of this kind, but we are planning more. Enjoy and spread! :)

We are looking for a name that would fit a dog that looks like the springer spaniel. It should be a name that a man wouldn’t be embarrassed to yell out loud.

We are in the early stages of making plans to adopt a dog. We are aware that adopting means we will most likely get a mixed breed but we have heard conflicting info on which dogs are compatible with young children.

The children are old enough to respect a dog but just the same we want a dog that will play but not too rough.

I’m just looking for some ideas so when it is time to start looking we know which dogs to rule out.

Hi folks. Thank you for all your warm comments and here are some answers to your questions: I shot this video on VHS-C in my backyard, near Ward, Colorado (8700′ elevation) during a blizzard in the late 1990’s; a local weatherman said it was the most measureable snow (if memory serves, it was 54″ in 48 hours) from the least amount of moisture ever. Cheers to dogs, and to all those that love them! Please be well and Happy Holidays!!!

When she first meets a dog she automatically tries to establish dominance. If the other dog is submissive, things are fine, but at times she just doesn’t get along with others–especially if it’s an adult dog. Is there a way that I can be the dominant one and keep her from doing this with other dogs or do I just need to let the dogs work it out.
