We are getting him tomorrow and he’s black and white. The name doesn’t have to fit the color…only in with our alcohol themed dog names.
Our Black and Tan Coonhound is named Merlot.

why alcohol !?
Cool idea….being an Australian shepard you may want to name it after a beer from its origins…
Some aussie beers off the top of my head are..
Cascade
Carlton
VB ( victorian bitter)
Fosters
Tooheys
Hahn
Redback
Non Australian beers good for a dogs name could also be Corona, Guinness, Budweiser, Heiniken and Duff.
Shiraz would be a great name too!

I like Carlton, its a good name and its a good aussie beer… I have a cattle dog they’re great!
Or how about Stubbie or tinnie (stubbie is bottle beer and tinnie is can)
How about name him after a hop varietal – here are some good ones…

Yellow Tail is an Ausie wine, isn’t it?
Cooper’s is IMHO the best Australian brewery so I’d suggest Cooper
Penfolds is the best winery but I don’t know if Penfold would make a good name for a dog.
